Introducing Mellat Mashhad Park
Mellat Park is one of the sights of Mashhad and one of the oldest parks in the city.The area of ​​this garden is 720,000 square meters (72 hectares) and more than 35,000 old trees of several decades have been planted in this beautiful garden. There is a lake on the eastern side of the garden, and behind the lake is the Veterans Complex, which is a service center for spinal cord amputation veterans.

Where is Mashhad Mellat Park?
Mellat Park is one of the tourist destinations and scenic spots of Razavi Khorasan province, which is located in the west of Mashhad, on the side of Vakil Abad highway, on the northwest side of Azadi intersection. Azadi Square of Mashhad has been known as "Fleke Park" among the people for a long time due to its proximity to Bostan Mellat. The park has several entrances and is easily accessible from all parts of the city by bus, metro and taxi. Azadi bus terminal is located in one of the sides of the park, which is the origin and destination of many bus lines. You can also take the metro and get off at Park Mellat station and easily access one of the park's entrances.

History of Mashhad Mellat Park
The start of the Mashhad Nation Park construction project was started with the idea of ​​two British engineers, but after a while Iranian engineers took over the project and completed it. This park was finally established in 1343 during the reign of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi outside the city. Due to urban development, after a few years this park was located in the urban area.

Sports facilities of Mashhad's Mellat Park
On the west side of the park, the sports fields of the park are located. These grounds include Mashhad's largest outdoor swimming pool with an area of ​​1250 square meters (length 50 meters, width 25 meters and depth 1 to 3 meters) with a capacity of 400 people, grass field for football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, etc. There is a field for jogging and sports around the garden.

"Rose Garden" is a covered part of the park, specially for women, which has sports facilities and equipment.

Mashhad Mellat Park amusement park
Mellat Park amusement park is one of the most exciting sightseeing places in the city, which most tourists include in their plans during their trip to Mashhad. This collection includes from the central part to the eastern parts of the park. This amusement park was built in 1351 and is considered the first amusement park in Mashhad. This amusement park has undergone many changes until today. The roller coaster of this amusement park with a diameter of 80 meters is the largest roller coaster in the Middle East and the 18th highest roller coaster in the world. This 250-ton roller coaster was put into operation in 2004 and is capable of lifting 450 people up to 80 meters in each round. This carousel was installed and launched by the private sector in two years, and this complex was the first holder of the standard of amusement park equipment in the country, which became a member of the IAAPA World Union in 2013.
